Galyean won the women's race at Snowshoe Mountain to lock up first place in the Pro GRT women's standings. There will be a furious race for second place in the women's standings as six riders are within five points of each other. Jackie Swider (San Luis Obispo, Calif./Arts Cyclery-Shredly) currently sits in second place with 85 points, followed by Amber Price (Westminster, Colo./BikeSource Gravity Racing) with 82 points. Breathing down their necks are four riders with 80 points apiece --Adrienne Schneider (Incline Village, Nev./One Industries), Robyn Embrey (Kings Beach, Calif./Shine Riders Co), Mary Elges (Frederick, Md./Integrity Racing - Deity) and Alison Zimmer (Lincoln, Vt./XPREZO - MTBVT).

Logan Binggeli (Saint George, Utah/KHS-LiveStrength-ISX Sports) closed in on his second consecutive Pro GRT title with a silver-medal performance on the slopes of Snowshoe Mountain. With just one event remaining on the 2013 calendar, Binggeli has 284 points, giving him a 54-point lead over Neko Mulally (Reading, Pa./Trek World Racing) who took the gold medal at Snowshoe and jumped up from fourth place in the Pro GRT men's standings from the previous week. Michael Sylvestri (Truckee, Calif./ARMA Energy - Evil Bikes) sits in third place in the standings with 148 points. He is followed by Aaron Gwin (Wildomar, Calif./Specialized Racing) with 140 points and Kevin Aiello (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif./KHS Bicycles) with 130 points. The men's race promises to be heated at the Pro GRT series finale at the Mammoth Kamikaze Bike Games in Mammoth Lakes, Calif., Sept. 4-8.
