2021 National Downhill Series Update: Mulally, Skelton, Hudson, and Erickson Earn Titles

By: Katherine Santos  October 01, 2021

Mulally, Skelton, Hudson, and Erickson dominate the NDHS.

COLORADO SPRINGS, COLO. - With two races to determine it all, Neko Mulally (Pisgah Forest, N.C.; Intense Factory Racing), Kailey Skelton (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; KHS Factory Racing), Brooks Hudson (Crested Butte, Colo.; Commencal USA), and Ella Erickson (Hayden, Idaho; Commencal USA) win the 2021 National Downhill series in each of their respective categories.

The season kicked off with the Tennesse National in March where Mulally (Pisgah Forest, N.C.; Intense Factory Racing) took sixth place in the Pro Men's category. Kailey Skelton (KHS Factory; Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.) took second in the Pro Women's race. Brooks Hudson (Crested Butte, Colo.; Commencal USA) would place fifth overall in the Men's 17-18 race, and Ella Erickson (Hayden, Idaho; Commencal USA) would take the win in the Women's 17-18 category.

The last stop on the calendar this year was the Mountain Creek Spring National in Vernon, N.J., where both Mulally (Pisgah Forest, N.C.; Intense Factory Racing) and Skelton (Rancho Santa Margarita, Calif.; KHS Factory Racing) would win big, ultimately sealing the deal on their overall series win.

The third stop on the NDHS calendar was originally supposed to be the 2021 Fox U.S. Open of Mountain Biking, but this year it was canceled due to forest fires.

A huge congratulations go out to all those that participated in this year's National DH Series. The 2022 calendar will be released in the next couple of months.
