Meet the Athlete

I’ve been riding my bike since I was 9 years old. I got competitive in cycling and starting taking it more seriously after I got second at USACycling road nats in the time trial. I’ve been racing through the ranks since. I’m now a cat 2 road cyclist and cat 1 cyclocross racer. My biggest accomplishment was qualifying and racing in the first ever cyclocross junior women’s world championships for team USA and completing my first euro racing campaign that same season. I have 9 national podiums between the two sports. I ride for team Twenty24 currently and I am excited to head to Colorado Mesa in the fall to compete in cycling in college as well. I have multiple professional podiums and results including a third in the pro women at snake alley criterium and I have over 18 state titles between junior and senior categories. I dabble in almost every cycling dissolving and I really enjoy the challenge and journey within cycling. I’m looking forward to this coming season!
What are your pre-race rituals?

I like consistency. When it comes to pre race rituals I like always having my music and headphone with me whenever I go. I’m big on visualization so I like having my own time to work through a course/race me mentally prep myself.

What is your favorite post-ride snack/meal?

I think gummy bears but different after a really long ride or day on the bike but I always love a good açaí bowl

What is your favorite quote or piece of advice to live by?

My favorite quote is, “stop thinking as sports like a job and think of it as an investment in yourself.” This is something I have written in places around to help myself remember that i am investing in my future and what I want to accomplish through committing to being an high level athlete!
