Meet the Athlete
Cole started road cycling about 3 years before COVID started. Once COVID happened, he decided to dedicate a lot of time to cycling, now that free time was abundant. He quickly progressed and got an amazing opportunity from Roy Knickman to ride for LUX Cycling. This was his opportunity to prove himself racing in Europe. He had very little racing experience since his first year as a U19 was taken away by COVID, but as a second year, and with nationals in a few months, he was really looking forward to getting a good shot at a jersey. 6 weeks before Nationals, he broke his collarbone training. He went on to win the U19 Time Trial National Championships. Then, he went over to Europe with LUX and managed to win the Ronde Valles UCI 2.1 Time Trial and get 2nd in the GC category. With those results, he was invited to be a part of Israel Cycling Academy, the World Tour development team of Israel Premier Tech. He signed with the team before his World Championships debut in Belgium. In the 2022 season, he has raced with the World Tour team at Tour Du Rwanda and has been given the opportunity to race at the biggest U23 races in the world.
