Meet the Athlete
Kendall started racing bmx at a local track in Ventura when she was 6 years old with her older brother, Morgan, and younger sister, Alexis. From there, all three of us started racing all different disciplines of cycling; first it was track, then road, then cyclocross, and cross-country mountain bike. Their dad was very supportive in anything they wanted to do, so you can imagine how their garage looked growing up, bikes everywhere. Kendall won her first Road National Championship when she was 15 years old in the criterium. She was also in so many other sports at the time, cross country running, waterpolo, swimming, and soccer; but there was nothing like the bike. From then she gave up the normal high school life and switched to an independent study school. She started traveling to Europe with the US National Team after that and gained a lot of experience racing at a high level at a young age. She won her second National Championship title on the track in the Points Race when she was 17, then was selected for the USA Junior Road World Championships team in 2009 in Moscow, Russia and 2010 in Offida, Italy. At 18, she signed with a professional women’s road team, Team TIBCO-SVB the longest running women’s professional cycling team in the USA, and still races for them today. She won her third National Championship title and first Pro title in the Criterium in 2015 and since then has been labeled a sprinter. Kendall has represented the USA national team at 5 World Championships; 2 times for Road, 1 time for XC MTB, and 2 for Track. The biggest win of her career was Stage 1 of Amgen Tour of California in 2018, a World Tour stage race. The last 3 years she has been back on the Track chasing dreams of the 2020 Olympic team for the Madison and Team Pursuit.
