(February 10-11) – Junior National Champion Ava Corley podiumed both days in Women’s U23 class racing in Rotorua, winning Round 2 and taking 2nd the day before, in Round 1.
Also in round 1, Alise Willoughby placed 4th and Felicia Stancil was 9th in the Elite Women’s race. Kamren Larsen made his first Elite Men’s World Cup main event, placing 7th.
Willoughby took 4th again in Round 2, followed by Stancil (5th) and Daleny Vaughn (6th).
This was the first of three qualifiers for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Next up: Brisbane, Australia, Feb. 24-25, followed by Tulsa, Oklahoma, April 27-28.

(February 9) – Luke Lamperti (Soudal Quick-Step) placed 2nd at the one-day Muscat Classic, his second top-three placing in the past two weeks. The US Criterium National Champion showcased his speed on the slight uphill finish after 174 kilometers of racing.

(February 10-14) –Luke Lamperti (Soudal Quick-Step) podiumed twice at his first pro stage race, the Tour of Oman, taking 2nd in stages 2 and 3 of the five-stage race.
It was another positive start to the season for Lamperti, 21, who wore the leader’s jersey for one day and the green points jersey another day.

(February 12) – Sepp Kuss (Team Visma/Lease A Bike) placed 6th at the hilly Jaén Paraíso, which included four dirt sectors in 158 kilometers of racing. It was the second race of the pro season for Kuss, the reigning Tour of Spain champion.

(February 14-18) – Sepp Kuss (Team Visma/Lease A Bike) earned his second top-10 spot in a week, placing 8th overall in the five-stage Volta ao Algarve. The 29-year-old battled to 3rd on stage 2 and then 6th on the final day, the race’s two most challenging stages. Kuss was third overall in the climber’s category.
Magnus Sheffield (INEOS Grenadiers) placed 2nd in the Stage 4 time trial, losing his first place spot to TT world champion and eventual race winner Remco Evenepoel. Sheffield was 2nd overall in the Youth category.

(February 19-25) – Brandon McNulty (UAE Team Emirates) won the stage 2 time trial and took the overall lead at the UAE Tour. McNulty, 25, competed in his U.S. Time Trial National Champion jersey, and will wear the leader’s red jersey going into stage 3. There are 5 stages to go, with the race wrapping up on Feb. 25.
