The world is craving soccer matches, bike races, baseball games and all sporting events, and the atmosphere that sport brings. The event organizers and staff responsible for bringing these cycling events to life are at a stand still waiting for their races to be able to happen safely. That’s where the one and only Brad Sohner, comes in. Sohner is a professional cycling announcer. He calls such races as the Tour of China, Amgen Tour of California, USA Cycling’s Cyclocross National Championships, just to name a few. Sohner also created the Tour de Quarantine.
The cycling community is finally united and can agree on one thing. The Tour de Quarantine is keeping us sane.
I am the trailer guy of content. I’ll never stop.

These short bits of humor are hilarious and are sparking joy all over the internet. If you haven’t seen the first 8 stages, you’re missing out.
After a particularly “grueling” stage 8, it’s a race between Guy In Orange, Questionable Bike Share User, Lady on Ebike, among several others. With more stages on the way, we can expect this peloton to take on stages in the mountains and the sprint stages.
Other companies are jumping on board. Cycling Tips had a Stage 2 race recap. One2Go Event Services is sharing “live” results. CX Hairs has done an episode of their “Heat Check Power Rankings” on the TdQ.
The Tour de Quarantine craze has even gone as far as having a fan reach out to Sohner to see how she could get involved and help those who have been dramatically affected by the pandemic. The pair settled on selling TdQ merch with proceeds being donated to the USA Cycling Foundation.
When the in-person events can come back, USA Cycling will be there. We want to support the community and the athletes every step of the way with the schedules constantly changing and dreams being put on hold. Show your support by joining the Tour de Quarantine fan club as well as helping the future of the sport. We will come back stronger than ever.
