World-class professional cycling comes to Baltimore, Maryland, September 4, 2022 with the best cyclists from around the World featuring Tour de France participants, World Champions, National Champions, Olympians and cycling heroes from 30 countries to race in the inaugural 2022 Maryland Cycling Classic Supported by UnitedHealthcare. The Maryland Cycling Classic supported by UnitedHealthcare, America’s top one-day pro cycling race, is a UCI ProSeries one-day international cycling race sanctioned by the Union Cycliste Internationale (UCI) and USA Cycling.
USA Cycling is excited to have a UCI race back in the United States and will be fielding a National Team for the one-day event. The team includes seven of America's top domestic professional racers looking to make the home crowds proud. Maryland local, Scott McGill (Fallston, Md.; Wildlife Generation), will lead the team after his recent stage wins and points jersey win at the Volta ao Algarve.
