Meet the Athlete

Curtis has represented the United States at nine World Championships, is a three time Pan-American Continental Champion, multi-medal winner at the U.S. National Championships, has over 35 UCI victories to his name, and is currently the top ranked American cyclocross male rider. Aside from competing, Curtis enjoys creating content around his racing and training in the form of a podcast series “In The Red: with Curtis White." Curtis graduated with a BA from Union College, and currently lives in Beverly, Massachusetts.

Make the most of the opportunities you are given, and recognize the work, effort, and perspective of others who afforded you those opportunities.

Growing up, how did youth sports impact who you are today?

I was not a strong academic student in my early years of school, but cycling gave me an outlet to explore, have fun, and chase my goals. What made me a better student later on were the values I found in sport; dedication, drive, work ethic, respect, attention to detail, being a good teammate, and goal setting. I continue to incorporate these values in my daily routines on and off the bike.
