Matteo Jorgenson

Jorgenson's impressive performances caught the attention of Team Movistar, one of the WorldTour's premier teams, where he signed in 2020. Upon joining Movistar, Jorgenson excelled in stage races and one-day events, proving to be a valuable all-rounder for the next four years. In 2024, his first year with Visma-Lease a Bike, Jorgenson had an incredibly impressive season. Early in the year, he secured a major victory at the Paris-Nice race, becoming only the third American to win this prestigious event. In addition to his Paris-Nice triumph, Jorgenson also won the Dwars door Vlaanderen race in late March, establishing himself as a key rider on the team.
