The Event Organizer Advancement Fund recognizes and supports cycling event organizers who are leveraging innovation to grow the sport of bicycle racing. This new grant program is designed to foster growth, creativity, and engagement within the cycling community while strengthening the relationship between USA Cycling and event organizers.
Event organizers with new or existing initiatives centered
around participant growth are encouraged to apply. In its inaugural year, the program
will offer a total of $25,000 in grants. Funding allocations for future seasons
will be determined after the conclusion of the 2024 grant cycle.
- The event organizer is in current and good standing with USA Cycling.
- The event organizer is compliant with USA Cycling's Safe Sport program.
- The event is currently, or will be, sanctioned with USA Cycling with a valid permit number.
- The event organizer is willing and able to implement new and creative concepts with a focus on driving participation to grow the sport of bicycle racing.
- The event follows compliance with all USA Cycling rules, regulations, and policies.
- Any event with an event date prior to April 30, 2025 is eligible.

Recipient Notifications: Friday, April 22, 2024
In its inaugural year, the Event Organizer Advancement Fund seeks to award 25 $1,000 grants to qualified applicants. Primary factors taken into consideration when determining grant awards include alignment with grant program objectives, innovation, viability, and growth potential.
Grant recipients are required to submit a grant report within 60 days of the conclusion of their event, detailing how the funds were utilized and the impact the funds had on their cycling event.
