Cyclocross Athlete Stipend Grants

For the 2024-25 cyclocross season, USA Cycling will be providing Cyclocross Athlete Stipend Grants. The grant supports athletes in navigating the financial demands of competing in Europe. By alleviating these financial burdens, the program allows athletes to focus on their performance and development. It provides crucial financial assistance, enabling athletes to participate in international competitions and empowering their trade teams to pursue athletic excellence, thereby fostering talent and promoting the sport's growth.

High Performance Grant

The Wyatt Weisel High Performance grant program provides support for travel and training costs associated with attending National Team Programs. This grant has supported many future American stars in their early years of international competition. Athletes who have been selected for USA Cycling National Team Program events and trips are invited to apply.

Centers of Excellence Grants Apply Now 547x399
Centers of Excellence Grants

USA Cycling’s Center of Excellence designation is awarded to select junior and Under-23 development teams which excel in the development of young cyclists. These Centers of Excellence programs consistently demonstrate the ability to develop young riders into nationally competitive athletes, by sending cyclists annually to USA Cycling Regional and National development camps as well as National Development Programs.

The Club Innovation Grant recognizes and supports cycling clubs and teams that leverage innovation to foster the growth of bicycle racing. This new grant program is designed to promote growth, creativity, and engagement within the cycling community while strengthening the relationship between USA Cycling and riders.

EVENT ORGANIZER ADVANCEMENT FUND
EVENT ORGANIZER Grants

The Event Organizer Advancement Fund recognizes and supports cycling event organizers who are leveraging innovation to grow the sport of bicycle racing. This new grant program is designed to foster growth, creativity, and engagement within the cycling community while strengthening the relationship between USA Cycling and event organizers.

Event organizers with new or existing initiatives centered around participant growth are encouraged to apply. In its inaugural year, the program will offer a total of $25,000 in grants.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Grants

Launched in 2020, the USA Cycling DEI Fund was created in an effort to empower groups, organizations and programs that champion diversity, equity and inclusion efforts in the cycling community.

To empower groups, organizations, programs, and institutions championing diversity, equity, and inclusion within the American cycling community to support growth within HBCU/TCU institutions and to break down barriers to access racing in the United States.

HBCU & TCU Grants

The USA Cycling HBCU/TCU Grant Program represents an update to an existing initiative designed to expand collegiate cycling programs at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) and Tribal Colleges and Universities (TCUs).

This program is dedicated to fostering new cycling teams, offering them comprehensive funding to support accessibility to bike racing. The grant comprehensively covers aspects of team development, including equipment like bikes, helmets, and apparel, as well as travel, race entry fees, coaching, club membership fees, and USA Cycling memberships for participants.

Collegiate Scholarships

The mission of the USA Cycling Collegiate program is to provide opportunities for team-oriented bicycle racing for student cyclists of all genders and abilities. This program provides new riders with a welcoming introduction to collegiate cycling – both riding and racing;To enable elite riders the option to pursue higher education while benefiting from development opportunities that integrate with amateur and professional teams and national development programs.
