Congratulations to all those that participated in The Race Across Italy virtual challenge! With nine days to ride a minimum of 84.5 miles, over 300 participants signed up to compete in this year's challenge and 127 of them completed the minimum mileage.
"At USA Cycling, bicycle racing is in our DNA. However, we understand everyone has their own internal or external motivator. The Tissot virtual challenge series is a perfect way to challenge all participants with finding their podium. Through the conclusion of The Race Across Italy virtual challenge, we are thrilled with the engagement and drive to achieve mileage milestones," said Eric Bennett, Director of Membership for USA Cycling.
Riders that finished the minimum mileage will receive a completion gift in the mail in August. In the coming days, Tissot will also be reaching out to the winner of the Giro-inspired Tissot watch.
USA Cycling would also like to recognize the USA Cycling members that completed the challenge. Each rider will be added to the virtual challenge hall of fame. The members that completed the challenge are listed below.
