Wisconsin is home to beautiful rolling hills, incredible cycling communities and now, the 2025 USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships.
“We are thrilled to partner with Trek and the city of Madison, and for our collegiate riders to experience racing around the capital. Hosting an event in Trek’s hometown is incredibly exciting, and we look forward to watching the best collegiate riders compete,” said Kyle Knott, USA Cycling’s Director of National Events.
Friday will feature both team and individual time trial races on the fast and straight roads along scenic farm fields outside Madison, Wisconsin.
Saturday’s road race, which is set to take place along the rolling hills of Waterloo, will showcase the cyclists’ technical skills and endurance as they navigate the picturesque terrain.
The criterium on Sunday will take place against the backdrop of Madison, providing a perfect opportunity for spectators to enjoy the event.
“We are excited to welcome the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships to experience the great cycling Wisconsin offers and incredible Midwest hospitality,” said Haley Ludwick, Trek Public Relations Manager. “We look forward to working with USA Cycling and our cycling communities to prepare for this championship.”
More than 350 athletes are expected to participate. These cyclists are the best collegiate riders in the United States, having to qualify by participating in local conference races within the 11 collegiate cycling conferences. Individual and team National Championship Titles will be awarded, giving students and their schools multiple opportunities for achievement.
The remaining 2025 National Championship calendar will be announced in the coming weeks.
