The 2024 UCI Track World Championships are heading to Denmark on October 16-20, 2024.
Back-to-back Omnium Olympic and World Champion Jennifer Valente (San Diego; Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY24) will return to the track to battle for World Titles in five events: Madison, Points Race, Scratch, Elimination, and Omnium. Meanwhile, Chloe Dygert (Brownsburg, Ind.; CANYON//SRAM Racing) will look to defend her Individual Pursuit World Title. Additionally, Emily Ehrlich (Slater, S.C.; Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY24) will join Dygert in the Individual Pursuit while Megan Jastrab (Apple Valley, Calif.; Team DSM-firmenich PostNL) will team up with Valente in the Madison.
On the men’s side, Paris 2024 Olympian Grant Koontz (Nederland, Colo.; Star Track Cycling) will take on the Omnium, Elimination, and Team Pursuit at the World Championships. Joining Koontz for the Team Pursuit will be David Domonoske(Palo Alto, Calif.), Anders Johnson (Huntsville, Utah; Chaney Windows and Doors), Colby Lange (Edwards, Colo.; Chaney Windows and Doors), and Brendan Rhim (Norwich, Vt.; Project Echelon Racing). Additionally, Domonoske will compete in the 500M Time Trial, while Johnson and Rhim tackle the Individual Pursuit. Lange is set to race in the Scratch, and Peter Moore (Saint Paul, Minn.) will take on the Points, then the two will join forces for the Madison.
