USA Cycling, as the proud title sponsor of the RISE Forum, is thrilled to celebrate the success of this impactful event held last week in Bentonville, Arkansas. The RISE Forum brought together a diverse group of 200 athletes, industry professionals, and aspiring leaders for a day dedicated to empowering women and femmes in the cycling and outdoor industries.
The event provided an opportunity for participants to experience education, networking, and inspiration, offering practical career development advice and valuable insights into the cycling industry. Attendees were able to hear from a lineup of powerful female leaders, including professional cyclist Haley Batten, whose on-stage discussion was a standout moment for many.
“The RISE Forum was one of the best female-focused events I’ve been to in a long time. It offered the perfect blend of participation, education, networking, and fun while delivering pointed updates on the cycling industry and practical advice for career development. Haley Batten’s on-stage discussion was my favorite moment from the event, as she reminded all of us that success is fueled by a combination of hard work, preparation, and believing in yourself.” shared USA Cycling Chief Operations Officer Erika Lehman.
USA Cycling is proud to support initiatives like the RISE Forum that champion women’s leadership and inclusion in cycling. The event, hosted by Women of OZ NWA, offered hands-on workshops, thought-provoking panel discussions, and invaluable networking opportunities. Participants left the day with a sense of community, feeling inspired and equipped with practical tools to advance their careers.
As USA Cycling continues its commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion, events like the RISE Forum are pivotal in creating opportunities for women to excel both on and off the bike.
