D.O.B | January 28, 1994 |
Hometown | Nederland, Colorado |

Born and raised outside of Houston, TX, Grant got his start in cycling when his parents thought it would be funny to get him a new bike for his 16th birthday instead of a car. Grant grew up engrossed in athletics, but mostly focused on ball sports until his small stature prevented him from being competitive. Between ages 16 and 22, Grant grew a foot and found cycling to be his predominant passion. After winning a Collegiate National Championship on the road in 2015, he decided to aim for the professional ranks with a pipe-dream of going to the Olympics some day. Grant raced the professional road circuit domestically for 4 years before he found the track. A USAC Talent ID camp in 2019 properly introduced him to track cycling and the Olympic bug was planted then and there. Grant remains a multi-disciplined cyclist, but the track is where his heart and focus is.
