“We were just kids in the U.S. that never would have made it as professionals if we didn't have the opportunity to come to Europe with USA Cycling. It's the reason I even have a career.”
“USA Cycling funded the camps that got me up to speed and helped our team gel. That support turned a track newcomer into an Olympic gold medalist.”
“Financial support doesn’t just buy equipment; it reduces stress. It frees up time to train and recover — and that directly affects performance.”
“When BMX Freestyle was added to the Olympics, USA Cycling brought clarity and resources including Elite Athlete Health Insurance. That transformed my career and let me train like a true high-performance athlete.”
Olympic gold medalist Connor Fields brings a powerful perspective to the event after years of competing in BMX Racing with USA Cycling. He’ll share stories from his time on the world stage — from the highest of highs, winning Olympic gold in Rio, to the lowest of lows, recovering from a life-altering crash at the Tokyo Olympics.
