What is BMX Racing?
BMX is a sprint race on a dirt track with jumps, rollers, and banked turns. Races are short, exciting, and held in a family-friendly environment with classes for every age and ability level.

Most BMX tracks offer rental bikes and helmets for beginners. Long sleeves, long pants, and closed-toe shoes are required. As you progress, you'll want to upgrade to a purpose-built BMX race bike and safety gear.

Many tracks host Beginner Days or “Try BMX” events, usually for free or at a low cost, where coaches and volunteers walk you through the basics.
