Get in the Game: Sports, Art, Culture Exhibition at Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art Set to Feature USA Cycling Olympic and World Championship Bikes

By: Angelina Palermo  September 05, 2025

Olympic and World Championship Bikes from Blevins, Honsinger, and the Team Pursuit Olympic Champions to Be Showcased at Crystal Bridges Museum in Bentonville, Arkansas

USA Cycling is excited to announce its collaboration with Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art. The museum will host the Get in the Game: Sports, Art, Culture exhibition from September 13, 2025, to January 26, 2026, where three of USA Cycling’s National Team bikes will be on display in addition to the museum’s world-class collection of American art and stunning architecture.

Get in the Game explores sports in all their glory, highlighting how the discipline, power, and sacrifice of athletes have inspired artistic and technological innovation—through paintings, sculpture, photographs, sports equipment, and more. The exhibition will feature bikes from USA Cycling athletes Christopher Blevins, Clara Honsinger, and the Women’s Team Pursuit Olympic Champions.

The first bike on display will be a mountain bike ridden by two-time Olympian and World Champion Christopher Blevins. Currently leading the 2025 World Cup Overall Standings, Blevins is showcasing his limited-edition Specialized Epic from the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games. This bike marked a historic moment for Blevins, as it was the one he competed on at his first Olympic Games, where he placed 14th as the only American man in the field.

Being part of this exhibition is especially meaningful for Blevins, as his great-grandfather, John Singleton Copley, is also featured in the Crystal Bridges’ permanent collection. Copley (1738-1815) was known for his colonial-era portraits of figures such as Paul Revere, John Hancock, and Samuel Adams, and his work has long been a staple in the museum’s collection.

"My Olympic bike represents a milestone in my career, but seeing it here at Crystal Bridges, where my great (x4) grandfather’s work also hangs, gives it new meaning,” said Blevins. “It shows how both sports and art can outlast a single moment — bringing people together, strengthening community, and inspiring the next generation."

Many cycling fans were first introduced to Northwest Arkansas in 2022, when the UCI Cyclocross World Championships came to Centennial Park in Fayetteville. One of the women leading that team was four-time Cyclocross National Champion Clara Honsinger, whose name will go down in history as one of the best U.S. cyclocross racers. Her custom-painted Liv Brava cyclocross bike will be on display at the museum—the same bike she rode at her final World Championships in Tábor, Czech Republic, in 2024, where she placed eighth. USA Cycling is excited to return to Centennial Park this December for the 2025 Cyclocross National Championships.

Adding to the Olympic spirit, the Women’s Team Pursuit Olympic Gold medal-winning bike will also be on display. Designed and engineered specifically for USA Cycling’s Olympic Track Team, the Canyon Speedmax Track bike was raced by Chloe Dygert, Kristen Faulkner, Jennifer Valente, and Lily Williams, who went on to set a time of 4:04.306 to win the United States’ first-ever Gold medal in the Women’s Team Pursuit at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. Not only did the bike help rewrite the history books, but the team’s race-winning strategy also earned USA Cycling the 2025 INFORMS Edleman Award for excellence in modeling and operations research.

The exhibition opens to the public on Saturday, September 13, with a free celebration from 10 AM to 3 PM featuring interactive activities, performances, and food. Tickets to the Get in the Game exhibition are $15, and free for Crystal Bridges members, SNAP participants, veterans, and adults and youth 18 and under. USA Cycling encourages the cycling community to view the bikes in person during Big Sugar Week in Bentonville (October 12-18) or during the 2025 USA Cycling Cyclocross National Championships (December 10-14) in Fayetteville.
