By: Angelina Palermo  July 26, 2026

16-year-old Eli Bundy sets the fastest time of the day winning the Junior Men’s 15-16 class.

On the final day of the 2026 USA Cycling Gravity Mountain Bike National Championships and the Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series, the Cat 1 and non-championship racers took to the course at Big Bear Mountain Resort.

Another exciting day of downhill racing saw the amateur fields turn in some incredibly fast runs, with several times stacking up against the pros. The day's most impressive performance went to 16-year-old Eli Bundy (Fort Collins, Colo.; Outlaw Intense Factory Development), who stormed to the fastest time in the Junior Men 15-16 race with a 2:58.466. The impressive run would have placed him third among the Junior Men 17-18 riders and just outside the top 20 in the combined Elite and Junior seeding results from Saturday.
