(November 3) – Americans won four elite titles and captured a number of podium spots at this year’s Pan American CX Championships, held in Missoula, Montana.
Eric Brunner (Competitive Edge Racing) won his 4th consecutive Pan American championship title, coming in two seconds ahead of second-placed Curtis White (Steve Tilford Foundation Racing) in the elite men’s race. Andrew Strohmeyer (CXD Trek Bikes) rounded out the USA sweep of top spots placing third, and Scott Funston (Cervélo Orange Living) was 4th.
The elite women’s race ended in a three-up sprint, with Katie Clouse (Steve Tilford Foundation Racing) capturing bronze for the second year in a row, missing out on silver by one second. Americans Natalie Quinn (CCB p/b Levine Law Group) and Anna Megale (Competitive Edge Racing) placed 4th and 5th.
Reigning U23 National Champion Jack Spranger (Bear CX) and Henry Coote (Competitive Edge Racing) captured 2nd and 3rd in the U23 men’s race, with Dylan Zakrajsek (Competitive Edge Racing) and Luke Walter (Cervélo Orange Living) placing 4th and 5th.
Defending champion Lauren Zoerner (Competitive Edge Racing) won the U23 women’s title again, while Kaya Musgrave (Cervélo Orange Living) took 3rd. Chloe Fraser (Bear CX) and Jorja Bond(CXD Trek Bikes) came in 4th and 5th.
Garrett Beshore (Boulder Junior Cycling) won the junior men’s title by a 21-second margin, followed by Benjamin Bravman (Bear National Team) in 2nd. Dylan Haynes (Boulder Junior Cycling) placed 4th, missing out on bronze by one second.
Alyssa Sarkisov (CXD Trek Bikes) won the junior women’s title by a 2 second margin. Rachel Lev-Tov (Boulder Junior Cycling) placed 5th.

(November 2) –UCI C2 racing came to Missoula, Montana on Saturday, the day before the 2024 Cyclocross Pan American Championships, for stop number nine of the USA Cycling Cyclocross National Series.
Scott Funston (Cervelo Orange Living) and Curtis White (Steve Tilford Foundation Racing) placed 2nd and 3rd in elite men’s racing, while Katie Clouse (Steve Tilford Foundation Racing) placed 3rd in the elite women’s race.
Garrett Beshore (Boulder Junior Cycling) won Saturday’s junior men’s race by one second, with Porter Melvin (Team Stampede) taking 3rd. Alyssa Sarkisov (CXD Trek Bikes) won the junior women’s race by one second as well.
