Koppenbergcross: Belgium
(November 1) – Two days after his best-ever World Cup finish, 17-year-old Andrew (AJ) August won the Junior Men’s race at Koppenbergcross. The famed Belgian course is known for its cobbles and brutal climb, which peaks at 22 percent. David Thompson (Finkraft Junior Cycling) and Magnus White (Boulder Junior Cycling) rounded out the top-10 junior’s race, finishing 8th and 9th, respectively.
Clara Honsinger (EF Education-TIBCO-SVB) took 4th in the Elite Women’s race.

UCI Cyclocross World Cup: Maasmechelen, Belgium
(October 29-30) – Andrew (AJ) August had his best World Cup finish ever, placing 4th in the Junior Men’s race at Massmechelen, Belgium. It was the fourth stop on the UCI CX World cup circuit. Vida Lopez de San Roman (Bear National) placed 7th in the Junior Women’s race.
Clara Honsinger (EF Education-TIBCO-SVB) placed 8th in the Elite Women’s race. It was Honsinger’s third, top-10 placing in this season’s series.

Coupe de France Cyclo-cross: Nommay, France
(October 22-23) – National Champion Clara Honsinger (EF Education-TIBCO-SVB) took the top spots over two days of CX racing in Nommay, France. Honsinger placed 1st by nearly a minute on day 1, then came in 1:14 ahead of her second-place British teammate Zoe Backstedt on day 2.
2022 UCI Pan American Cyclocross Championships: Falmouth, MA
(November 4) –The U.S. scored five championship titles at the UCI Pan American CX Championships, including repeat victories in the elite men’s and women’s races by defending champions Eric Brunner (Blue Competition Cycles p/b Build) and Raylyn Nuss(Steve Tilford Foundation).
Jack Spranger (Bear Development Team) won the Men’s U23 title and Lizzy Gunsalus(Steve Tilford Foundation) took the U23 Women’s title.
David Thompson (Finkraft Junior Cycling) captured the Junior Men’s title, while Vida Lopez de San Roman (Bear National) placed 2nd in the Junior Women’s race, missing the top spot by 2 seconds.
The Pan Ams kicked off the Really Rad Festival of Cyclocross weekend at Cape Cod Fairgrounds, with a number of cyclists taking on all three days of racing.

Really Rad Festival of Cyclocross: Falmouth, MA
(November 5-6) – Hundreds of age-group cyclists and CX pros took on two days of racing at the Cape Cod Fairgrounds in Falmouth, one day after the UCI Pan Am Championships took place at the same venue.
On day 1, Pan Am Elite women’s champion Rayln Nuss (Steve Tilford Foundation) placed 2nd , while men’s champion Eric Brunner (Blue Competition Cycles p/b Build) took 1st in the elite men’s race, with Curtis White (Steve Tilford Foundation) and Lance Haidet (L39ION of Los Angeles) rounding out the podium -- the same order they came in the day before at Pan Ams.
Vida Lopez de San Roman (Bear National) placed 1st in the junior women’s race, while Magnus White (Boulder Junior Cycling) took the top spot in the junior men’s race.
On day 2, Eric Brunner took first again, making it three wins in three days for the newly crowned Pan Am Champion. He was followed by Curtis White (Steve Tilford Foundation) and Scott Funston (Blue Competition Cycles p/b Build). Pan Am Champion Rayln Nuss took 2nd again, making it three podium finishes in three days. Magnus White took 1st both days in the junior men’s race.
