USA Cycling Announces 2023 Junior Track World Championships Team

Seven athletes have been selected to the Junior Track World Championships in Cali, Colombia on August 23-27, 2023.

The 2023 UCI Junior Track World Championships will take place in Cali, Colombia on August 23-27. USA Cycling has selected seven riders to compete at the championship.

Junior National Champion Reagan Pattishall (Breinigsville, Pa.; EDGE Cycling) will be the lone Women’s Endurance racer taking on four events, all of which she has a National Title in: Omnium, Scratch Race, Elimination Race, and Points Race.

Jonah Hover (Allentown, Pa.; EDGE Cycling) will be returning to the Junior World Championships to race in Individual Pursuit, Elimination Race, and Madison with teammate Luke Fetzer (Laguna Beach, Calif.; Hot Tubes Development Cycling Team). Fetzer will also be competing in the Road Race at the 2023 UCI World Championships in Scotland three weeks prior. To round out the Men’s Endurance events, Alejandro Che (Torrance, Calif.; Team Velosport) will race in the Scratch Race.

Divya Verma (Breinigsville, Pa.; EDGE Cycling) will also be returning to Junior Worlds racing the Sprint and Keirin with Annika Flannigan (Bethlehem, Pa.; Edge Cycling) racing the 500m Time Trial. On the men’s side, Grayson Hauck (Allentown, Pa.; Star Track) will be competing in the Sprint and Keirin.

Junior Men’s Endurance

Luke Fetzer (Laguna Beach, Calif.; Hot Tubes Development Cycling Team) – Omnium, Points Race, Madison

Jonah Hover (Allentown, Pa.; EDGE Cycling) – Individual Pursuit, Madison, Elimination Race
