Maddie started riding bikes around age 11 with her parents and joined her first team as a part of a summer mountain bike camp in Boulder, Colorado called SMBA. With this summer program, she began racing cross-country mountain bike and enduro. When she got to high school, she started racing much more competitively on the XC side as she fell in love with racing through the NICA league. At age 16, she traveled to her first-ever World Championships for Cyclocross in Denmark. Later that year, she competed in her first Mountain Bike World Championships as well in Mont St. Anne, Canada. In 2020, she won a bronze medal at the inaugural Junior Women's race at the Cyclocross World Championships in Switzerland, a race she will never forget! Outside of riding, she love any kind of adventure and is a big fan of ice cream!
