Payton "P-Nut" Ridenour is a 19-year-old BMX racer from Pottstown, Pennsylvania. She started BMX with her dad when she was five years old and has loved racing ever since. During her amateur career, she won seven national age group (N.A.G.) titles, as well as the National #1 Amateur Girl title in 2018. In 2019 she won the coveted rainbow stripes at the UCI Red Bull Pump Track World Championship in Bern, Switzerland. Whilst moving up to the pro ranks in 2021, Ridenour earned her first world cup podium in Bogota, Colombia which secured her ticket to the Olympic Games in Tokyo later that summer. In addition to her racing accomplishments, Ridenour is also the author of a children's alphabet book titled A to Z: BMX Style. She is very hardworking and determined and hopes that these qualities will help her achieve her career and educational goals.
My favorite movie is definitely White Chicks. No explanation needed; it is pure comedic gold, haha.

One piece of advice I like to live by is that there are always opportunities to be better than I was yesterday. Every day I use my experiences to learn how I can be a better version of myself and help others along the way.

Growing up, I have always looked up to the other professional athletes in BMX. I wanted to be just like them one day, and now to be in that position is a dream come true. I hope that I can fill their shoes and be that same role model to inspire kids in the sport. I want to be someone that is not only remembered for their accomplishments, but also who they are as a person.
