Collegiate All-Star Program

Recognizing top collegiate athletes and supporting their next step from collegiate racing into elite level competition.

Large Quote

Collegiate cycling plays a critical role in athlete development in the United States. The Collegiate All-Star Program brings together top student-athletes from both club and varsity programs to race as one team while gaining experience in elite level competition that can open new opportunities for their future.

From collegiate to elite

The Collegiate All-Star Program recognizes top student athletes and supports their next step into elite level racing. It is built to give standout collegiate riders a real team experience in a elite level setting.

Composite Team Racing

Selected athletes will compete as composite men’s and women’s teams at the Redlands Bicycle Classic, with varsity and club riders racing together. A dedicated crew of directors, soigneurs, mechanics, and collegiate staff will provide the team with elite level support.

How Selection Works

USA Cycling is building a repeatable selection pathway for the years ahead. The 2026 USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships in Madison, Wisconsin May 7–10, 2026 will serve as the qualification event for the 2027 Collegiate All-Stars team.
