In August, the world’s best riders will battle for the rainbow jersey across Cross-Country Olympic, Short Track, Downhill, and E-MTB events, and you’ll be there for every moment with VIP access and behind-the-scenes experiences few fans ever get.

The UCI Mountain Bike World Championships return to the legendary trails of Val di Sole, and this is your invitation to experience it inside the action with the USA Cycling Foundation. Nestled in the heart of Trentino, Italy, Val di Sole is one of the most iconic venues in mountain biking history. It is home to the legendary Black Snake downhill track and the world-famous cross-country course that winds through alpine forests and over the brutal rock garden that has made the valley famous.

TRIP DETAILS

7 Days / 6 Nights | August 25-31, 2026

The trip includes (subject to final race schedule and official hospitality program):

  • Six nights of accommodations in the breathtaking Val di Sole region, surrounded by alpine peaks, waterfalls, and classic Italian charm.
  • Five days of VIP race viewing, including Cross-Country Olympic, Short Track, E-MTB, and Downhill events.
  • Insider access with Team USA, including:
    • Behind-the-scenes time with athletes, coaches, and mechanics for an up-close look at race preparation and strategy.
    • A private dinner with Team USA, hosted by the USA Cycling Foundation.
  • Full-service hospitality, featuring regional Trentino cuisine, local wines, and curated group meals celebrating the best of Italian alpine dining.
  • Guided local experiences, including village markets, wine tastings, and exploration of Trentino’s charming mountain towns.
  • Optional recreation, such as hiking through Val di Sole’s stunning alpine trails, biking the 35km cycle path along the Noce River, or casual mountain biking on scenic, non-race routes. Bikes rentals will be coordinated based on interest.
  • Exclusive Foundation access, connecting you directly with Team USA leadership and the athletes representing the red, white, and blue.

THE EXPERIENCE

Full-Service Experience

This is a turnkey travel experience from arrival to departure, including:

  • Train-station pick-up and drop-off 

  • All transportation for race viewing, dinners, and excursions throughout the week

Recommended Travel

We recommend arriving on August 25 and departing on August 31.

Fly into one of the following airports:

  • Verona Villafranca (VRN) – 160 km

  • Milan Airports 

    • Bergamo Orio al Serio (BGY) – 250 km
    • Milan Linate (LIN) – 299 km
    • Milan Malpensa (MXP) – 335 km

From these airports, continue by train or shuttle to Trento, then take the Trento–Malé–Mezzana railway line to Daolasa station, located at the entrance to the race village and your accommodations area.
