The 25th edition of USA Cycling Foundation's Tour de France cycling adventure returns to the shores of Lake Annecy this July. Join us for the week in the village of Talloires, France for an incredible few days of guided cycling tours and VIP access to the Men’s Tour de France stages. 

ABOUT THE TRIP

USA Cycling Foundation will host this special 2026 Tour de France experience in the Haute Savoie, with Mari Holden, USA Cycling Foundation Senior Philanthropy Manager, World Champion, and Olympic Medalist, joining as a guide throughout the week.  

Throughout the week, guests will enjoy riding some of the most iconic climbs in the region alongside fellow supporters of American cycling, with special guest appearances and opportunities to experience VIP Tour de France viewing at select stages. 

The trip is limited to 10 rooms, with double occupancy available.

MONDAY | JULY 20 — Arrival & Col des Aravis

Tour de France Rest Day (Second Rest Day)

Ride: Col des Aravis — 31 miles, 2,478 ft elevation gain

TUESDAY | JULY 21 — Crêt de Châtillon Ride

Tour Stage 16: Évian-les-Bains → Thonon-les-Bains (26 km ITT) along Lake Geneva

Ride: Crêt de Châtillon — 52.3 miles, 5,629 ft elevation gain

WEDNESDAY | JULY 22 — Stage 17 VIP Start Viewing & Chambéry Ride

Tour Stage 17: Chambéry → Voiron

Drive: Talloires to Chambéry (1 hour)
Tour Experience: ASO VIP Stage Start Viewing

Ride: Chambéry to Talloires — 43.2 miles, 5,126 ft elevation gain

THURSDAY | JULY 23 — Col de Leschaux Ride

Tour Stage 18: Voiron → Orcières-Merlette

Ride: Col de Leschaux — 47 miles, 3,309 ft elevation gain

FRIDAY | JULY 24 — Stage 19 VIP Finish Viewing & Alpe d’Huez Ride

Tour Stage 19: Gap → Alpe d’Huez

Drive: Talloires → Annecy Airport (30 minutes)
Helicopter: Annecy → Les Deux Alpes

Ride: Les Deux Alpes to Alpe d’Huez — 22.8 miles, 4,436 ft elevation gain

Tour Experience: ASO VIP Stage Finish Viewing

Helicopter: Alpe d’Huez (town heliport) → Annecy Airport
Drive: Annecy Airport → Talloires (30 minutes)

SATURDAY | JULY 25 — Ride Options Day

Tour Stage 20: Le Bourg-d’Oisans → Alpe d’Huez (Queen Stage)

Ride Options:
• Col des Aravis (Long) — 58.2 miles, 6,736 ft elevation gain
• Col de l’Arpettaz (Medium) — 51.5 miles, 5,253 ft elevation gain
• Forclaz (Short) — 18.6 miles, 2,639 ft elevation gain

THE EXPERIENCE

Full-Service Experience

This is a turnkey travel experience from arrival to departure, including:

  • Airport pick-up and drop-off 

  • All transportation for race viewing, dinners, and excursions throughout the week

Recommended Travel

We recommend arriving on July 20 and departing on July 26.

Travel Options:

  • Fly into Geneva Airport (GVA) – approx. 50 km

  • Train travel is also possible via Annecy, with regular connections from Geneva and Lyon. From Annecy, Talloires is a short 25-minute drive or taxi ride.

We will coordinate your taxi from the airport or train-station arrival to Tallories.

Trip Cost 
  • Tour de France Experience (Rider): $15,000 per person

  • Additional Riding Guest (sharing accommodations): $7,500

  • Additional Non-Riding Guest (sharing accommodations): $2,500

Exclusions
  • Airfare to and from France is not included.

  • Travel insurance and personal expenses are the responsibility of the guest.
