The 2025 Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series schedule has been announced. The series will consist of five races in 2025, including the Fox US OPEN of Mountain Biking at Killington Resort, Vt., and the 2025 USA Cycling Gravity Mountain Bike National Championship in Big Bear Lake, Calif. The series features an international field of pro and amateur racing, with athletes competing for the men’s and women’s overall titles.
“The 2024 season of Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series exceeded expectations on many levels and we’re going to continue with that momentum in 2025. Expanding the series to Utah has been a goal since day one, so we are thrilled to be working with Solitude Mountain Resort, our newest venue partner. Additionally, we’re proud to continue developing our relationship with USA Cycling, as the Gravity National Championship race becomes part of the Pro Downhill Series - hosted at Round #4 in the iconic MTB town of Big Bear Lake. I feel confident that downhill athletes and fans will be stoked with the ’25 schedule, whether attending events or following along with our growing YouTube race coverage”, said Clay Harper, Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series Director.
For the second season, the Pro Downhill Series will again kick off at Ride Rock Creek, Neko Mulally’s bike park in North Carolina. The action heads to Mountain Creek Bike Park in New Jersey for Round #2, known as one of the longest standing national race venues in the country. Round #3 will be the highly anticipated, all-new Pro Downhill Series race at Solitude Mountain Resort. For the final two rounds of 2025, the series then returns to Snow Summit in Big Bear Lake, where the event will serve as Round #4 of the Pro Downhill Series and the 2025 USA Cycling Gravity Mountain Bike National Championship. Round #5, the series finale, will take place at the Fox US OPEN in Killington, Vermont and crown the overall champions.
The Monster Energy Pro Downhill Series presented by Continental Tires, will be sanctioned as the Official USA Cycling National Downhill Series. Organizers are working with USA Cycling to finalize all sanctioning details and UCI Continental Series distinction for Pro Downhill Series Round #1 at Ride Rock Creek in April.
