With the guidance and support of inclusivity experts, industry partners, athletes, and sport advocates, USA Cycling will host the first-ever Cycling Inclusion Conference on Sept 10 and 11 at the USAC headquarters in Colorado Springs, offering both in-person and virtual attendance options.
The Conference will focus on four key underrepresented communities in cycling - BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, Women, and Disabled Athletes. With the guidance and support of USA Cycling’s DEI Task Force and members of the four key underrepresented communities, USA Cycling has set the agenda, panel topics, and list of speakers. The target audience for the conference is cycling industry representatives with a view to educate and inform and to establish strategic collaborations designed to increase inclusion in the sport moving forward.

This is the beginning of what we hope will become an annual conversation and source of industry accountability.”
Attendance to the conference will be offered both in-person and virtually. For those attending in person, all COVID protocols will be followed and a mask must be worn at all times inside. Currently, the Conference is brought to you with the generous financial support from PeopleForBikes, Canyon, Allied Cycle Works, Trek, SRAM, Vittoria, Hyperice, and Strava. Canyon donated an Endurance CF SL Disc 8.0 Di2 for the raffle, open to all. Proceeds from the raffle will be used to offset the costs of the conference. The raffle will open on Thursday, Aug., 26.
