
Peyton Burckel 14th in Kilometer Time Trial to Close Out 2025 UCI Junior Track World Championships
On the final day of the 2025 UCI Junior Track World Championships, Peyton Burckel (Lacombe, La.; EF Education-ONTO) took on the Kilo Time Trial at the Omnisport Apeldoorn Arena.
Burckel closed out his World Championship campaign in the Kilometer Time Trial. He opened with a measured pace before ramping things up at the halfway mark. By his third split, he was sitting seventh fastest, and over the final 250 meters he surged to record the fourth-fastest split. He stopped the clock at 1:03.679, finishing 56 seconds off the winning time, scoring him in 14th place.
