Masters riders from across the United States lined up in Varese, Italy, for the 2025 UCI Masters Cyclocross World Championships November 28-30, taking on deep international fields and a technical course.
The compact circuit mixed grass, dirt, pavement, tight turns, and short climbs, challenging riders over three days of racing. Team USA athletes competed across multiple age groups, showing the depth and commitment of the American cyclocross community.
“What stood out in Varese was how prepared and competitive our Masters riders were,” said Eric Bennett, USA Cycling’s Director of Membership. “From longtime racers to first time Worlds athletes, they brought experience, intensity, and a strong Team USA presence to every race.”
Team USA’s efforts in Varese highlight the important role Masters riders play in growing cyclocross at home. USA Cycling remains committed to supporting these athletes as they race locally, nationally, and on the world stage.
