Czech Tour: Czech Republic
(July 25-28) – Young Americans made a splash at the four-stage Czech Tour, with Kevin Vermaerke (Team dsm-firmenich PostNL) placing 4th and AJ August (INEOS Grenadiers) placing 7th at the pre-Olympics warm-up. Vermaerke, 23, placed top-five in three stages, while 18-year-old August, in his first year as a pro, placed 2nd in the Youth category.
Twenty-one-year old Luke Lamperti (Soudal Quick-Step) took the stage 1 victory for his first World Tour win.

Tour Alsace: France
(July 24-28) – Colby Simmons (Team Visma-Lease a Bike Development) earned his best result of the season, placing 2ndoverall and 1st in the Youth category at the five-day Tour Alsace. The 20-year-old brother of World Tour pro Quinn Simmons (Lidl-Trek) is in his third year on the Jumbo-Visma Development Team.

Masters and Juniors Road National Championships: Augusta, Georgia
(July 25-28) – Nearly 800 Masters and Junior cyclists competed in Augusta, Georgia, for 80 national titles up for grabs over the weekend in time trial, road race, and criterium.
Juniors in ages 11-16, and Masters ages 35-94 took to the streets of Augusta, with more than a few earning multiple national titles. Frederic Schmid (Waco, Texas; GeriAtrix) competed in the oldest category, Men’s 90-94, and brought home a trio of jerseys, winning the time trial, criterium, and road national championship races.

American Criterium Cup: Chicago Grit, Lake Bluff, Illinois
(July 27) – Kendall Ryan (L39ION of Los Angeles) and Fergus Arthur (REIGN Storm Racing) earned the wins on stop number six of The American Criterium Cup (ACC). There were 10 days of crit racing at Chicago Grit, including the ACC race in Lake Bluff, Illinois.
Skylar Schneider (Miami Blazers) was 2nd behind Ryan, and Alexis Magner (L39ION of Los Angeles) was 3rd. On the men’s side, Josh Burnett (MitoQ New Zealand Cycling Project) and Lucas Bourgoyne (Austin Outlaws) placed 2nd and 3rd.
Through six races of the eight-race series, Skylar Schneider leads the women in the points competition, followed by Rylee McMullen (DNA Pro Cycling) and Kendall Ryan (L39ION of Los Angeles). Jordan Parra (REIGN Storm Racing) continues to lead the men, followed by his teammates Alfredo Rodriguez and Danny Summerhill.

American Criterium Cup: Audi Denver Littleton Twilight Criterium, Littleton, Colorado
(August 3) – Skylar Schneider (Miami Blazers) and Alfredo Rodriguez (REIGN Storm Racing) took the top spots at the Denver Littleton Twilight Crit, race number 7 in the ACC series.
Rylee McMullen (DNA Pro Cycling) and Peta Mullens (Brazilian Butterfly/Liv/SRAM) placed 2nd and 3rd in the elite women’s race. Ben Oliver (Above and Beyond Cancer Cycling Team) placed 2nd and Jordan Parra (REIGN Storm Racing) was 3rd on the elite men’s side.
Through seven races, Skylar Schneider, Rylee McMullen (DNA Pro Cycling) and Paola Munoz (Goldman EFT Racing) rank 1-2-3 in the women’s overall standings, while the men’s overall remains the same, with Jordan Parra(REIGN Storm Racing) in first, followed by teammates Alfredo Rodriguez and Danny Summerhill in 2nd and 3rd.
The final race in the series is the Gateway Cup on September 1 in St. Louis.

Junior Track National Championships: Redmond, Washington
(August 1-4) – New national records and track records were set in Redmond, Washington at the Junior Track National Championships, held for the first time at Jerry Baker Memorial Velodrome. More than 130 juniors competed in 60 events over three days of racing.

Gravity Mountain Bike National Championships: Ride Rock Creek, Henderson County, North Carolina
(July 31-August 4) – More than 500 elite and age-group riders competed for national titles in Dual Slalom, Enduro, and Downhill at Ride Rock Creek in North Carolina.
Day one saw Nathan Kitchen (Gravity Collective/RAAW/Monster Army) edge out world champion and Ride Rock Creek founder Neko Mullaly (Frameworks Racing) for the men’s elite Dual Slalom title. On the elite women’s side, Kale Cushman (Gravity Collective) defended her Dual Slalom title, while Teagan Heap (Pivot Factory Racing) placed 2nd.
Day two featured Enduro racing, with elite men and women racing six stages for a combined finishing time. Richie Rude(Yeti/Fox Factory Race Team) won the elite men’s title, with Jack Brown (Dirt Camp Racing) just eight seconds behind for 2nd and JT Fisher (Yeti/Fox) another 2 seconds behind for 3rd. Seventeen-year-old Chloe Bear (Yeti/Fox Factory Development Team) won the women’s title, followed by Porsha Murdock (Specialized USA/TRP) in 2nd and four-time defending champion Amy Morrison (Transition Bikes/Fox/Shimano/WTB/Endurobearings) in 3rd.
Day three featured Downhill, with Austin Dooley (Commencal Schwalbe, Monster Army) earning the elite men’s crown and Anna Newkirk (Beyond Racing) winning the women’s title.
Aaron Gwin (Gwin Racing, Crestline Bikes) was 2nd and Luca Shaw (Canyon Collective Factory Racing) placed 3rdbehind Dooley. On the women’s side, Kailey Skelton (Ari Factory Racing) and Mazie Hayden (GT Wild Rye) placed 2ndand 3rd.
Junior DH sensation Asa Vermette (Frameworks Racing) won the junior men’s title with the fastest overall time of the day, besting the elite men’s winner by 1.076 seconds. Lucas Dedora (Transition Factory Racing/Monster Army) and Ryder Lawrence (Intense Factory Racing) placed 2nd and 3rd. Matilda Melton (Transition Factory Racing) won the junior women’s crown, with Kale Cushman (Gravity Collective) and Julia Lofqvist Traum (Sweetlines) placing 2nd and 3rd.
