Team USA Shines at the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships

Amy Phillips claimed the rainbow jersey in the Women's 50+ as Team USA delivered standout performances at the 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships in South Limburg.

The 2025 UCI Gravel World Championships in South Limburg, Netherlands, marked another milestone for American cycling, with riders from across the country representing Team USA in elite and age-group categories. From seasoned professionals to passionate amateur racers, the event captured the spirit of gravel: endurance, inclusivity, and community.

The South Limburg course, set among the rolling hills and historic villages of the Netherlands, offered a mix of fast farm roads, rugged gravel tracks, and steep, punchy climbs. Riders faced multiple laps of a 50-kilometer circuit that demanded both power and technical skill, a perfect showcase for the growth of the discipline worldwide.

“What stood out most in South Limburg was the sense of pride and unity within our team,” said Eric Bennett, USA Cycling’s Director of Membership. “Every rider, from first-time qualifiers to seasoned veterans, showed what it means to be part of this community. Their performances captured the growth and momentum of American gravel racing on a world stage.”

Among the standout performances was Amy Phillips, who delivered a commanding ride to take first place in the Women 50+ category, earning the coveted rainbow jersey. Competing on the rolling gravel roads and technical climbs of South Limburg, Phillips showcased both power and poise, securing one of the most celebrated victories of the weekend.

Her win not only marked a personal triumph but also underscored the growing strength of American women in age-group gravel racing, reflecting the depth, passion, and professionalism within the USA Cycling membership community.
