USA Cycling Announces Team for 2026 UCI Junior Track World Championships
The 2026 UCI Junior Track World Championships will take place August 19-23 at the Sport Vlaanderen Heusden-Zolder Velodrome in Limburg, Belgium.
Team USA will be represented by two junior women competing across the endurance disciplines. Eighteen-year-old Emma Jimenez Palos (Miami, Fla.; City Bikes Miami Racing) returns to defend her UCI World title in the Scratch Race after an outstanding performance in 2025, where she also claimed silver in the Individual Pursuit and finished fifth in the Omnium. She will also partner with 18-year-old Rue Tomko (Bellevue, Wash.; Jerry Baker Juniors) in the Madison. Tomko will contest three events in Limburg, competing in the Madison alongside Jimenez Palos while also taking on the Points Race and Elimination Race.

Rue Tomko (Bellevue, Wash.; Jerry Baker Juniors) – Madison, Points Race, Elimination Race
