Five junior riders are set to compete at the 2025 UCI Junior Track World Championships in Apeldoorn, Netherlands from August 20-24.
Ashlin Barry (Toronto, Ont.; JEGG - SKIL - DJR powered by Visma Lease-a-Bike), Merrick Gallagher (Redmond, Wash.; Jerry Baker Juniors), Peyton Burckel (Lacombe, La), and Enzo Hincapie (Greenville, S.C.; EF Education-ONTO) will unite for the Team Pursuit, with Barry and Gallagher also teaming up for the Madison. Each rider will also participate in individual events: Barry in the Pursuit and Omnium, Gallagher in the Elimination and Scratch Race, and Burckel in the Pursuit and Kilo TT. Last year, Barry was second in the Omnium and is looking to take the gold in this year’s World Championships race.
First-year junior Emma Jimenez Palos (Novi, Mich.; TWENTY28 Aevolo) will represent the junior women, competing in the Omnium, Scratch Race, Elimination Race, Points Race, and Individual Pursuit.
