USA Cycling Director of Membership Launches “USACommunique” Podcast

By: Angelina Palermo  November 26, 2019

Lindsay Goldman answers questions from the cycling community in an effort to provide transparency and support from the organization.

Last week, the first ever episode of the USACommunique went live on the Wide Angle Podium Network. In this new podcast series by Bill Schieken of CX Hairs, the cycling community is invited to submit questions for Lindsay Goldman, USA Cycling’s Director of Membership, to answer every other week.

The goal of the podcast series is to provide detailed answers to all the questions sent in from the cycling community. As someone with direct access to the larger staff at USA Cycling, if Lindsay doesn’t know the answer on a particular topic, she will go a find the answer from the respectable staff member in the office.

“USA Cycling is working hard to rebuild trust in the community and be of service to all cyclists and it’s critical to start with transparency, honesty, and a willingness to talk through tough topics. The purpose of this podcast is to open our doors to our community, share the things we’re working on, and answer questions about our plans, policies, and preferences,” said Lindsay Goldman, USA Cycling’s Director of Membership, “I want people to know we’re listening, we care, and we’re working to make American cycling better. And no, I’m not exaggerating when I mention sweating with anxiety through the making of these podcasts; our members are a tough crowd but I’m happy to serve them and love a good challenge.”

If you'd like to ask a question, you can email USACommunique@gmail.com or leave a voicemail at 405-CXHAIRS. Follow the show on Twitter at @USACommunique to keep up with the latest.
