From a young age, Bjorn developed a passion for the outdoors, and it was through adventures with his family that he discovered mountain biking. He has been racing competitively since 2013 and, in 2021, made the decision to fully commit to his mountain bike development by moving to Europe to race with Trek Vaude. During his U23 career, Bjorn established himself as one of the sport's rising stars, earning multiple U23 World Cup podium finishes.
In 2025, Bjorn signed with one of the world's premier mountain bike teams, Scott-SRAM Factory Racing, as he made the jump to the elite ranks. The move paid off in 2026, where he had his breakout season, earning his first Elite World Cup podium and victory. When he's not on the bike, Bjorn enjoys creating art and experimenting with a variety of artistic mediums.
