Meet the Athlete

Vermaerke started racing locally in Southern California on the mountain bike with his dad and gradually progressed to road racing at the age of 15. As a junior, he raced in Europe with USA Cycling and the LUX Junior Cycling Team before moving on to Hagens Berman Axeon, then the WorldTour with Team DSM, and now UAE Team Emirates–XRG.
