Raised in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Moore began track cycling at the age of eight and road racing at 12. After achieving success on the track as a junior at both the national and world championship levels, his U23 years brought a challenging balance of track and road racing. Splitting time between racing for the AG2R Citroën U23 Team, representing the U.S. National Team on the track, and managing an independent track racing program gave him a broad range of experience and helped shape his development as an elite cyclist.

In recent years, Moore has shifted his primary focus to track cycling, a decision that has produced consistent progress and strong results at the UCI Track World Championships, UCI Track World Cup, Pan American Championships, Track Champions League (TCL), and Six Day events. His career highlights include a silver medal in the Points Race at the 2025 UCI Track World Championships and, on a lighter note, winning the 2019 Minnesota High School State Cross Country Skiing Championship.

Looking ahead, Moore remains focused on track cycling, with a particular emphasis on the Team Pursuit as he works toward representing Team USA at the LA28 Olympic Games.

Off the bike, Moore earned a Bachelor of Arts in Biology, with a focus in Evolutionary Developmental Biology, from Bowdoin College in 2022. He enjoys attending concerts, meditating, swimming in the Rhine River near his home in the Netherlands, and skiing whenever the Dutch winters provide enough snow.
