(September 30-October 5) – Just 10 days after winning the Tour of Luxembourg, Brandon McNulty (UAE Team Emirates-XRG) won the six-day CRO race, marking his third stage-race victory of the season. Magnus Sheffield (INEOS Grenadiers) placed 5th overall. The race, which McNulty also won in 2024, started in Split and finished in Zagreb and featured steep climbs, cobbles and one stage shortened by high winds.

(October 4) – Cole Kessler (Lidl-Trek Future Racing) placed 6th at the 170-kilometer Il Lombadia U23 race. Kessler, 22, is the current U23 time trial National Champion. This was his best result in Europe so far this season.

(October 3-5) – Stop number five of the Cyclocross National Series for the Trek USCX Serieswas a UCI C1/C2 race weekend at the Trek CX Cup in Waterloo, Wisconsin.
Day one’s elite men’s C1 racing saw Eric Brunner (Competitive Edge Racing) take his fourth win in the Trek Series this year. Jules Van Kempen (Team Winston Salem-Flow) and elite men’s National Champion Andrew Strohmeyer (CXD Trek Bikes) placed 2nd and 3rd.
Mia Aseltine (Competitive Edge Racing) and Raylyn Nuss (Steve Tilford Foundation) placed 3rd and 4th behind Canadian winner Maghalie Rochette (SRAM/Seeker).
Sunday’s C2 racing saw Andrew Strohmeyer (CXD Trek Bikes) place 1st, followed by Eric Brunner (Competitive Edge Racing), Jules Van Kempen (Team Winston Salem-Flow) and Kerry Werner in second, third and fourth place. In a tight competition with Brunner, Strohmeyer’s win on Sunday earned him the overall elite men’s title.
In elite women’s C2 racing, Raylyn Nuss (Steve Tilford Foundation) placed 4th and Mia Aseltine (Competitive Edge Racing) 5th behind Maghalie Rochette, who claimed the overall elite women’s title with seven out of eight wins in the series.
The Cyclocross National Series continues with the Englewood Open, October 11-12, in Fall River, Wisconsin.
