Team USA Recap: National Titles Awarded at Madison Track National Championships; Brunner Scores Double Wins at Boulder Cup CX
(November 14-15) – Nearly 60 athletes vied for Stars and Stripes jerseys over two days of racing at Detroit’s Mad Track Arena, host of the 2025 USA Cycling Madison Track National Championships.

(November 15-16) – Stop number 12 of the USA Cycling CX National Series was a UCI C1/C2 race weekend at Boulder Cup, held at Boulder’s Valmont Bike Park.
Eric Brunner (Competitive Edge Racing) took solo wins on both days of elite men’s racing. He was followed across the line more than a minute later on day one by Ivan Sippy(Colorado Mesa University), Jack Spranger (Colorado Mesa University), Benjamin Bravman (Colorado Mesa University) and Garrett Beshore (Colorado Mesa University) in 2nd-5th.
France’s Caroline Mani won day one’s elite women’s race, followed by Makena Kellerman (Colorado Mesa University), Cassidy Hickey (Colorado Mesa University), Lauren Zoerner(Competitive Edge Racing) and Amelia Shea (Feedback Sports).
Sunday’s C2 racing saw Brunner cross the line 48 seconds ahead of Ivan Sippy and Henry Coote (Trinity Racing), who came in one second apart for 2nd and 3rd. Garrett Beshoreplaced 4th followed by Jack Spranger in 5th.
In the elite women’s race, Makena Kellerman won the sprint against Cassidy Hickey, coming in two seconds ahead for the win. Caroline Mani placed 3rd, followed by Lauren Zoerner and Amelia Shea in 4th and 5th.
Heading into the final race of the series, Andrew Strohmeyer leads the elite men’s standings overall, followed by Eric Brunner, Jules Van Kempen, Tyler Clark, and Kerry Werner, Jr.
Canadian Maghalie Rochette leads the elite women’s standings, followed by Manon Bakker, Sidney McGill, Lauren Zoerner, and Caroline Mani.
Noah Scholnick leads the junior men, followed by Ethan Brown and Jacob Hines.
Alexa Haviland leads the junior women, followed by Hadley Molnar and Elly Moore.
The series wraps up November 22-23 with a weekend of C2 racing at the North Carolina Grand Prix, in Hendersonville, NC.
