(July 5-27) – After four days of racing, Matteo Jorgenson (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) is currently the top-placing American at the Tour de France, sitting in 4th place and 19 seconds behind the overall leader, Mathieu van der Poel (Alpecin-Deceuninck).
Four other Americans are taking on the three-week long race: Neilson Powless (EF Education-EasyPost); Sepp Kuss (Team Visma | Lease a Bike); Quinn Simmons (Lidl-Trek); and first-timer Will Barta (Movistar Team). The Tour ends on July 27 in Paris.

(July 3-6) – Matthew Riccitello (Israel-Premier Tech) took 1st overall at Sibiu Cycling Tour, his first stage race win as a pro. The 23-year-old climbing specialist placed 1st and 2nd in two mountain stages of the four-stage race, which takes place in and around Sibiu, Romania. Riccitello’s best pro result before this came last year when he placed 5th at the Tour of Switzerland.

(July 2-6) – Heidi Franz (Cynisca Cycling) placed 3rd and Katherine Sarkisov was 9th overall at the Volta a Portugal. The five-stage race started in Porto and ended in Póvoa de Santa Iria. Franz, 30, placed 1st on stage 1 and was 3rdoverall in the mountain category. Franz and Sarkisov, who’s the U23 CX national champion, were two of 12 American women who competed in Portugal.

(June 28-July 2) – Eighty-two national titles were awarded over five days of racing at the 2025 USA Cycling Masters & Junior Road National Championships, hosted by Tour of America's Dairyland. Ranging in ages from 11 to 97, 940 cyclists from across the US competed for Stars and Stripes jerseys in Individual Time Trial, Road Race, and Criterium in and around Milwaukee.

(June 28) – Stop number three of the USA Cycling Criterium National Series took place in Wisconsin during the Tour of America’s Dairyland. Drawing a strong international presence, the Café Hollander Otto Wenz Downer Classic was the 10th of 11 races that took place in and around Milwaukee.
Switzerland’s Aline Seitz took 1st in the women’s pro race and New Zealand’s Ben Oliver (MitoQ-New Zealand Cycling Project) took first on the men’s side.
Odette Lynch (Fearless Femme Racing) was 2nd and Arielle Verhaaren (Automatic Racing) was 3rdfor the elite women. In the men’s pro race, Brody McDonald (Golden State Blazers) placed 2nd and Maurice Ballerstedt (Baller) was 3rd.

(June 27-29) – American riders came away with two podium spots in UCI World Cup enduro racing in Italy. Richie Rude (Yeti/Fox Factory Race Team) earned silver in the elite men’s race, and Chloe Bear(Yeti/Fox Factory Race Team) earned bronze in the junior women’s race.
Ivan Williams (Theory Racing) placed 9th in the junior men’s race and JT Fisher (Yeti/Fox Factory Race Team) was 10th in the elite men’s race.

(July 3-6) – American juniors had another dominating weekend of World Cup DH racing, winning three podium spots at La Thuile. Aletha Ostgaard (Canyon Collective Factory Team) won her first junior women’s DH World Cup and Matilda Melton (Commencal Schwalbe by Les Orres) placed 3rd.
Asa Vermette (Frameworks Racing/5DEV) was 2nd in junior men’s DH, for his third World Cup podium in a row this season. Luke Mallen placed 4th, his 2nd top-10 placing this season.
Dylan Maples (Commencal/Muc-Off by Riding Addiction) placed 6th in elite men’s DH, his 2nd top-10 finish this season.
In Enduro racing, Chloe Bear (Yeti/Fox Factory Race Team) placed 4th in the junior women’s race.

(June 27-29) – Stop number 6 in the USA Cycling Cross-Country MTB National Series brought elite, junior and age-group cyclists to compete in XCC and XCO at SOHO Bike Fest, also part of the UCI Continental Series and the US Pro Cup Circuit.
In the US Pro Cup/UCI Continental series, Canadian Logan Sadesky (Broad Street OffRoad) won the elite men’s XCO race, followed by Devon Feehan (Dirt Camp Racing) and Robbie Day (Bear National Team).
Alice Hoskins (Gravity Collective) won the elite women’s XCO race, followed by Greta Kilburn(Bicycle Express Racing) in 2nd and Canadian Roxane Vermette (Delta Marriott Mont-Saine-Anne) in 3rd.
Mason Salazar (Rouleur Devo) and Luke Ozment (Donovan Racing) went 1-2 in junior men’s XCO. Elisabeth Knight (Rouleur Devo/Specialized) and Addisyn Lundberg (Accel Cycling) were 1st and 3rd in junior women’s, with Knight scoring a dominating 2:30 victory over the group.
The US men took the top four spots in the U23 XCO race, with Lasse Konecny (Bear National Team) placing 1st, followed by Landen Stovall (Bear National Team), Toby Hassett (Bear National Team) and Adam Mote (Donovan Racing) going 2-4.
Bayli McSpadden (Bear National Team) earned 3rd in U23 women’s XCO behind winner Joy Harumi Mendez Garcia of Mexico, followed by Kaya Musgrave (Cervelo/OrangeLiving) and Maiya Blanchard (Delta Devo) in 4th and 5th.

(June 29) – Gravel National Champion Brennan Wertz (Scott Sport) placed 1st in the elite men’s race while Melisa Rollins (Liv Racing Collective) outsprinted Lauren De Crescenzo (Factor Racing/Wahoo) for the elite women’s title at this year’s SBT Gravel.
The 117-mile elite race was close, with three-time champion Keegan Swenson (Santa Cruz Bicycles) and Cobe Freeburn (MAAP) coming in 7 seconds behind Wertz for 2nd and 3rd. Alexey Vermeulen (ENVE Composites) and Peter Stetina (Canyon) were 4th and 5th.
Last year’s SBT winner and US gravel national champion Lauren Stephens (Aegis Cycling Foundation) came in 31 seconds behind Rollins for 3rd, followed four second later by Sarah Lange (Pivot Cycles-Velocio) and then Paige Onweller (Trek Driftless).
SBT was also the fourth stop of the 2025 USA Cycling Junior Gravel National Series for cyclists ages 15-18. Juniors raced the 79.3-mile course, with series leader Carter Lembke winning the junior men’s race in 3:35:45 and Scarlette Hardie earning the junior women’s win in 4:14:47. The series offers a chance to earn an invitation to the USA Cycling National Team Road Camp at the United States Olympic & Paralympic Training Center.

(June 27-29) – Team USA’s top BMX athletes earned 9 podium spots over three days of racing at the inaugural Salt Lake City X Games.
Paris Olympians Justin Dowell and Marcus Christopher earned gold and silver in Men’s BMX Park, while five-time World Champion Hannah Roberts took gold and Olympic silver medalist Perris Benegas earned bronze in women’s BMX Park.
Two-time Olympian and three-time world champion Dowell earned another medal, this time silver in BMX Park Best Trick, with Bryce Tryon taking bronze. Multi-time X-Games medalist DanielSandoval was fourth.
In BMX Dirt, Brady Baker earned silver, while Sandoval took the bronze and Kaden Stone was 6th.
Kaden Stone also won silver in BMX Dirt Best Trick and Sandoval was 4th.

(July 4-6) – Just a week after their impressive showing in Salt Lake City, Team USA had a podium sweep in Brussels, Belgium. Daniel Sandoval placed 1st, Justin Dowell took 2nd and Nick Bruce was 3rd. Team USA’s Bryce Tryon placed 5th.
The annual three-day Brussels Urban Sessions festival brings together top BMX athletes for top level contests, along with music, art, skateboarding and other events for pros and the public to enjoy.
