(June 14-15) – Team USA kicked off their season of BMX World Cup racing with a number of top placings over two days of competition in Sarrians, France.
Newly crowned national champion Cameron Wood made it to the finals and placed 4th overall in round 1 of elite men’s racing, while national champion Payton Ridenour made it to the women’s finals and was 8th.
Round 2 saw Team USA’s Daleny Vaughn earn her first podium finish, placing third in the elite women’s final, and Derin Merten place 5th in the U23 women’s final.

(June 21-22) – It was on to the Netherlands for rounds 3 and 4 of UCI BMX World Cup racing. On Saturday Cameron Wood made it to the finals again and placed 4th in round 1 of elite men’s racing.
The next day Wood bettered his performance and earned 2nd place in the elite men’s final. Payton Ridenour placed 7th in elite women’s final.
After this fourth round of World Cup racing, Wood is ranked 3rd overall among elite men, Vaughn is 8th among elite women, and Alexis Alden is 10th in U23 women.

(June 8- 15) – Matteo Jorgenson (Team Visma | Lease a Bike) finished 6th overall at Critérium du Dauphiné, the eight-stage race that serves as a warm-up for next month’s Tour de France. The 25-year-old rode in support of teammate Jonas Vingegaard, who placed 2nd. Jorgenson had five top-10 placings during the race.

(June 13) – Neilson Powless (EF Education-EasyPost) won the 173 kilometer GP Gippingen, a classic Swiss circuit race and warm-up for the Tour de Suisse. Powless made his way back to a group of 5 in the final lap around Leuggern, then took off on his own with 3 kilometers to go.

(June 15-22) – Elite National Champion Quinn Simmons (Lidl-Trek) won Stage 3 of the Tour de Suisse, coming in 18 seconds ahead of the bunch. Wearing the Stars and Stripes jersey he earned in May, Simmons launched a solo attack with 20 kilometers to go for one of the biggest wins of his career.
Five other Americans competed in the 88th version of the Tour: Matthew Riccitello (Israel-Premier Tech), Will Barta (Movistar Team), Andrew August (INEOS Grenadiers), Neilson Powless (EF Education-EasyPost), and Larry Warbasse (Tudor Pro Cycling Team). Barta was the top-placing among the group, coming in 12th overall.

(June 21) – Lily Williams (Human Powered Health) placed 6th in the inaugural version of the women’s Copenhagen Sprint, a 151 kilometer race that finished with three fast, 10 km laps in the center of Copenhagen. It was the third top-10 finish in three weeks for the 30-year-old Olympic Gold Medalist in the Team Pursuit.

(June 14) – Criterium National Champions Kendall Ryan (L39ION of Los Angeles) and Lucas Bourgoyne (Team Cadence Cyclery p/b Encore Wire) took the women’s and men’s wins respectively in Salt Lake City at LHM/CC Utah Crits. It was stop number two in the six-race USA Cycling Criterium National Series.
Aline Seitz placed 2nd and Rylee McMullen (Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY28) was 3rd in the pro women’s race. This was Ryan’s second win in a row in the series. She won the previous week in Tulsa.
In the men’s pro race, Maurice Ballerstedt (Baller) placed 2nd and Brody McDonald (Golden State Blazers) was 3rd.

(June 20-21) – In hot and challenging conditions at Val di Sole, Christopher Blevins (Specialized Factory Racing) made it five for five in men’s elite XCC, scoring another historic win. He placed 8ththe next day in elite men’s XCO.
Vida Lopez de San Roman (Trinity Racing) placed 5th in U23 women’s XCO, while Savilia Blunk(Decathlon Ford Racing Team) placed 8th and Kelsey Urban (KMC Ridley MTB Racing Team) 10thin elite women’s XCO. Blunk scored another top-10 spot the day before, coming in 10th in elite women’s XCC.
Makena Kellerman placed 10th in U23 women’s XCC.
Round 4 of World Cup downhill racing saw the Americans earn silver and bronze, along with numerous top-10 placings.
Dylan Maples (Commencal/Muc-Off by Riding Addiction) placed 4th and Luca Shaw (Canyon Collective Factory Team) 9th in the elite men’s DH final. In junior men’s DH, Asa Vermette (Frameworks Racing/5DEV) qualified 3rd and Luke Mallen 6th out of 55 competitors, with Vermetteearning the podium spot, 3rd place, in the final and Mallen placing 8th. Vermette also earned bronze last round in Austria.
Aletha Ostgaard (Canyon Collective Factory Team) placed 2nd and Matilda Melton (Commencal Schwalbe by Les Orres) was 4th in the junior women’s DH. It was Ostgaard’s second silver in a row.

(June 21-22) – Roots, rain, and tricky descents on 7 stages greeted riders at this year’s Enduro National Championships, held at Silver Mountain Resort in Kellogg, Idaho. Colton Peterson(Specialized) captured the pro men’s title and Amy Morrison (Transition Shimano/Fox/WTB) claimed the women’s crown.
Nikolas Nestoroff (Ari Factory Racing) was 2nd and Tucker Shearer (Transition/Berkshire Back and Board) 3rd in the pro men’s race.
Kailey Skelton (Ari Factory Racing) and Porsha Murdock (Specialized) placed 2nd and 3rd in the pro women’s race.

(June 21-22) – Stop number 5 in the USA Cycling Cross-Country MTB National Series brought hundreds of elite and age-group cyclists to Missoula for XCC and XCO action.
Greta Kilburn (Bicycle Express Racing) and Bayli McSpadden (Bear National Team) went 1-2 in elite women’s XCO, while Robbie Day (Bear National Team) and Caleb Swartz(Mondraker/Forward Endurance Coaching) were 2nd and 3rd in men’s elite XCO behind Canadian Logan Sadesky (Broad Street OffRoad).
Toby Hassett (Bear National Team), Justin Peck (LGBRC p/b Ben Dodge Realtor) and Preston Johnson (NorthPeak Racing) went 1-3 in U23 men’s XCO, while Halle Britton (WE Development), Maiya Blanchard (Delta Development) and Hannah Wray (WE Development) took the top three spots in the U23 women’s race.
In elite men’s XCC, Sadesky captured the top spot again, followed by Austin Beard (Segment 28) and Caleb Swartz (Mondraker/Forward Endurance Coaching). Greta Kilburn (Bicycle Express Racing) won elite women’s XCC, followed by Sophia Wellmeier (Bear National Team) and Halle Britton (WE Development).
In the XCO Junior Series, Canadian Ethan Wood (Charge XC BC) placed 1st in the junior men’s race, followed by River Valdez (Bear National Team) and Benjamin Bravman (Bear National Team). Sophia Wellmeier (Bear National Team) won the junior women’s race, followed by Canadian Nicol Knoll and Elisabeth Knight (Rouleur Devo/Specialized) in 3rd.
