On September 13–14, USA Cycling welcomed Masters athletes from across the country to Colorado Springs for a dedicated Masters World Championship Preparation Camp. The two-day camp gave riders the opportunity to refine their skills, train under championship conditions, and build camaraderie with fellow Team USA athletes preparing for the Masters World Championships.
Daily sessions ran from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, delivering structured, high-impact training without overtaking athletes’ full schedules. Sessions featured full start gate access with live video and feedback on standing starts, timed laps replicating the intensity of competition, and on-site instruction from USA Cycling High Performance staff.
All attendees received an official Team USA skinsuit and additional USA Cycling gear as part of registration, further fueling the sense of national pride and unity. By the conclusion of camp, every participant saw measurable improvements in speed and performance.
“This camp wasn’t just about putting in laps—it was about preparing athletes for the unique challenges of Worlds,” said USA Cycling staff. “The gains riders made in just two days were significant, and the confidence they built will carry straight into championship competition.”
