Grace Norman is a Paralympic gold medalist and world record holder in both paratriathlon and track & field. Born in Jamestown, Ohio, she was born with congenital constriction band syndrome, leading to the amputation of her left leg and right big toe at a young age. She made history as the first female amputee to podium at a high school track & field state championship and later became the first U.S. athlete to win gold in paratriathlon’s debut at the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games.
A 2020 graduate of Cedarville University, Grace earned a nursing degree while competing on the NCAA track and cross-country teams. She currently holds T44 world records in the 800m and 1,500m, and has now taken up Paracycling in 2025. Grace married in 2022 and enjoys baking, sewing, and spending time with her family.
