Without the leadership of our outstanding board of directors and our foundation staff, we would not have the funding and direction needed to proactively run our organization.
Molly Pickall joined USA Cycling as Chief Philanthropy Officer and leader of the USA Cycling Foundation in 2025. Previously she served in leadership positions for conservation organizations including American Forests and Trust for Public Land, where she led multi-million dollar fundraising programs and initiatives that resulted in the protection of significant natural landscapes and nature close to home.
In her community work, Molly is the head coach of the 4x state champion Bozeman Lacrosse high school girls’ program. She is a member of Leadership Montana and Planet Women and previously served on the boards of the One Valley Community Foundation and Cape Eleuthera Foundation. Molly has a bachelor’s degree in interdisciplinary studies and minor in economics from Davidson College, where she captained the Wildcat’s NCAA DI women’s lacrosse team. Based in Bozeman, Montana, she enjoys spending time in the mountains and on her bikes with her husband and their Brittany spaniel.
Mari Holden is a former professional cyclist with an amazing race resume which includes a UCI World Championship, 6 National Championships, and an Olympic Games Silver medal. Mari brought her extensive racing experience to serve on the Board of Directors at USA Cycling, and as the cycling athlete representative to the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Committee from 2000 to 2008. Mari has previously worked for USA Cycling as a Community Director, a Team Director for Junior and U23/Women’s teams racing in Europe, and now brings her deep experience to the Foundation as a Senior Gift Officer, raising funds to support USA Cycling athlete development programs since 2020.
Lauren Hall earned her B.S. in Biological Sciences from Mississippi State University, where she was also a Division I soccer player. After graduation, she went on to play professional soccer before attending culinary school and working in childhood nutrition education. She later completed a master’s degree in management. At 28, Lauren made the remarkable transition to professional cycling. Racing with the USA National Team, she quickly rose to prominence by winning the prestigious Gent-Wevelgem and capturing three National Titles on the track. She went on to race in Europe for the next decade, playing key supporting roles on two winning Giro d’Italia teams. Since 2019, Lauren has brought her passion and experience to her role as a Gift Officer for the Foundation.
Abby Rogers’ cycling journey kicked off at Indiana University, where she fell in love with cycling through racing the iconic Little 500 race before graduating with a B.S. in Exercise Science. Abby worked fundraising and development at IU’s Kelley School of Business before taking her passion global to Backroads, where she organized and guided trips in the USA, Great Britain and New Zealand. Abby joined USA Cycling Foundation in 2025 and as a Program Officer. She thrives on creating meaningful experiences through food, culture, and the simple joy of cycling.
Jess Cygan joined USA Cycling in 2021, starting in the membership department before moving to the Foundation in 2022. She supports the Foundation’s fundraising and donor relations efforts, including managing campaigns, the donor database, and annual auctions. Before joining USA Cycling, Jess worked in public health for five years, drawing on her background in nutrition to support community health initiatives. She holds a B.S. in Nutrition Science and competed in Division I cross-country and track (running). Jess raced professionally (cycling) for three years, starting in gravel and culminating with a season on the UCI pro road team Cynisca Cycling. Jess still enjoys riding daily and loves supporting our athletes and programs behind the scenes.
