(December 12-15) – More than 43 national titles were awarded over four days of racing in Louisville at this year’s CX National Championships, held at Joe Creason Park.
Andrew Strohmeyer (CXD Trek Bikes) earned the Elite Men’s title, coming in less than a second ahead of defending champion Eric Brunner (Competitive Edge Racing) and 3 seconds ahead of Scott Funston (Cervèlo/Orange Living), who earned bronze.
Eighteen-year-old Vida Lopez de San Roman (Bear CX National Team) became the youngest Elite National Champion when she won the Elite Women’s race. Multi-champion and last year’s 2nd-placed Katie Clouse (Steve Tilford Foundation Racing) earned silver, while Raylyn Nuss (Steve Tilford Foundation) earned bronze.
Henry Coote (Competitive Edge Racing) took the U23 Men’s title, followed by Ivan Sippy(Colorado Mesa University) in 2nd and defending national champion Jack Spranger (Bear CX) who earned the bronze.
2023 Collegiate Club national champion Katherine Sarkisov (CXD Trek Bikes) won the U23 Women’s title in a sprint that ended with a finish-line crash. Makena Kellerman (Broken Carbon) earned silver and Cassidy Hickey (CCB) took the bronze.
Garrett Beshore (Boulder Junior Cycling) won the Junior Men’s 17-18 title, a race that started the day on a still-frozen course. Benjamin Bravman (Bear National Team) earned silver and Dylan Haynes (Boulder Junior Cycling) took bronze.
Lidia Cusack (CXD Trek Bikes) continued her CX win streak, earning the Junior Women’s 17-18 title. Her teammates rounded out the top-3, with Alyssa Sarkisov (CXD Trek Bikes) coming in 2ndand Ada Watson (CXD Trek Bikes) placing 3rd.
Colorado Mesa University won the Collegiate Varsity Omnium title, followed by Milligan University in 2nd and Fort Lewis College in 3rd. University of Colorado Boulder won the Club Omnium title, followed by University of Vermont in 2nd and Colorado State University in 3rd.
The weekend also featured Masters, Juniors 10-16, along with Singlespeed, Relays, Nonbinary, and non-championship categories.
The CX National Championships head to Fayetteville, Ark. for the next two years, starting with the first event on December 11-14, 2025.

(December 6-7) – Season four of the UCI Track Champions League wrapped up at London’s Lee Valley VeloPark, with American Peter Moore (Chaney Windows and Doors) earning his second win of the series in Elite Men’s Scratch.
In London, Moore won Round 4’s Scratch race and placed 7th in the Elimination race. He placed 13thin Round 5’s closing Scratch competition. Round 5 was cut short due to a crash, with the Men’s Elimination and men and women’s Keirin races cancelled.
The League has five rounds of racing and is divided into men’s and women’s Sprint (Sprint and Keirin) and Endurance (Elimination and Scratch) categories, with up to 18 riders in each category.
This was Moore’s first season competing in the Track Champions League, and he placed 11th overall in the Men’s Endurance category.
