Team USA Recap: Jastrab and Hincapie Finish 5th and 6th at Paris-Roubaix Femmes and Juniors; 35 titles Awarded at Paracycling Road Nationals
(April 4) – Quinn Simmons (Lidl-Trek) placed 2nd at the 204-kilometer GP Miguel Indurain, coming in 8 seconds behind the winner, Ion Izagirre. In a three-man battle, the road race national champion was dropped on the final steep climb by Izagirre, a Basque native in his last year of racing who’d won the race two times previously.

(April 12) – Megan Jastrab (UAE Team ADQ) battled the world’s best over a 143-kilometer course with 20 cobbled sectors, placing 5th at the women’s Paris-Roubaix. This was the sixth year that the pro women had their own race. In her top result so far this season, Jastrab came in with Lotte Kopecky 1:30 behind the winner, Germany’s Franziska Koch.

(April 12) – Team USA’s Enzo Hincapie (grenke-Auto Eder) placed 6th at Paris-Roubaix Juniors, a 103-kilometer course with 17 cobbled sectors. The 17-year-old made a vast improvement over last year’s finish, when he had several mechanicals forcing him to run in his bike to the finish. This year he came in with a small group two seconds behind the winner, Thijs Wiersma.

(April 11-12) – Bentonville, Arkansas hosted this year’s Paracycling Road National Championships, where cyclists from around the U.S. battled it out in dozens of categories for a Stars and Stripes jersey.
Eighteen time trial titles were awarded on day one, and on a windy and wet day two, 17 titles were awarded in road racing. The championships will return to Bentonville for next year’s Paracycling Championships.

(April 8-12) – After five days of racing at the Redlands Bicycle Classic, Lauren Stephens(Aegis x Leaders of Enchantment) won the pro women’s title and Eder Frayre Moctezuma(L39ION of Los Angeles) won the pro men’s title. It was the 40th edition of the California race.
Emily Ehrlich (Virginia’s Blue Ridge TWENTY28) placed 2nd and Jamie Chapman (Aegis x Leaders of Enchantment) was 3rd overall for pro women.
On the pro men’s side, Owen Cole (Team Winston Salem) was 2nd overall and Jack Diemar (Kelly Benefits Cycling Team) was 3rd.
The race also served as a stop on the Junior Road National Series.
Sophia Avery (Monarch Racing) won the 15-16 women’s title, followed by Mya Mendoza(BEYOND Racing) and Olivia Van Winkle (BEYOND Racing) in 2nd and 3rd.
Arjuna Burgos (EF Education-ONTO) won the 15-16 men’s overall title, followed by Jax Weber (Velosport Cycling) in 2nd and Shane Curtis (Sycip/Devout Coffee) in 3rd.
Léonie Bergeron (Equipe Dynamike Feminine) won the 17-18 women’s title, followed by Emy Solis (ELLAS) in 2nd and Tessa Beebe (BYRDS Cycling) in 3rd.
Gregory DeBenedetti (Project Supertraining p/b Vafels) won the 17-18 men’s title, followed by Enzo Berghout (EF Education-ONTO) and Nils Hummel (Team California Academy) in 2nd and 3rd.

(April 11-12) – The third stop of the 2026 USA Cycling Cross-Country Mountain Bike National Series, along with the UCI XCO Junior Series took place over a weekend of racing in southern California.
Reigning World Cup XCC and XCO champion Christopher Blevins (Specialized) won the pro men’s short track opener, followed by Carter Woods (Giant Factory Off-Road), and Jack Spranger (USA Cycling National Team).
Jennifer Jackson (Orbea Fox Factory) won the pro women’s short track race, followed by Haley Batten (Specialized) and Gwen Gibson (Trek-Unbroken XC).
Bear National Team swept the top three spots in junior men’s 17-18 short track, with Kian Reid, Rowan Nistal and Tommy Rowley. Scout Wellmeier (Bear National) won the junior women’s 17-18 short track, followed by Sofia Tripcevich (The Gravity Academy), and Zanna Logar (Gravity Collective). Henrick Wussow (ACCEL Cycling) won the junior boy’s 15-16 short track race and Anna Morozowich (Bear National) won the junior girls 15-16 race.
In Saturday’s XCO racing, Christopher Blevins went two for two, winning the pro men’s race again. Carter Woods came in one second behind for 2nd, followed by Riley Amos(Trek Unbroken XC) in 3rd. Haley Batten won the elite women’s XCO race, coming in 9 seconds ahead of Jennifer Jackson. Then it was Savilia Blunk in 3rd.
In the UCI XCO Junior Series, Charles Thomas (WE Development) won the junior men’s XCO race followed by Kian Reid two seconds behind, then Rowan Nistal rounding out the podium. Sophia Wellmeier took her second win of the weekend, winning the junior women’s race. Lily Agnew (VAHS-Cutaway) placed 2nd followed by Zanna Logar in 3rd.
Colin O’Neil (Bear National Team) won the U23 men’s XCO race and Elisabeth Knight(Bear National Team) won the U23 women’s race.
